Once you are nominated to become an exchange student at Wakayama University by your university, you need to submit application forms prepared by us to the Wakayama University Center for International Education and Research (IER) office.

Application process
- Complete and submit the applications to us through the international office of your university.
- A certificate of admission (for university acceptance) and a Certificate of Eligibility (for Japanese visa) will be sent to via your university’s international office.
- Apply for a Japanese visa at your nearest Embassy of Japan in your country (the Certificate of Eligibility is required for visa application).
- Inform us of your flight schedule as soon as possible upon receiving your flight ticket, no later than two weeks before your arrival date.
