Tutor System

A Tutor is a Japanese student instructor at the University who provides various categories of support to international students for academic research, class work, and daily living. For an international student who is new in Japan, a Tutor can be a good school mentor as well as a friend to talk to on various subjects. It is also a good opportunity to interact with Japanese students. Tutors are selected by the University based on the recommendations from academic advisors.

This Tutor service is available to international students who are listed below. However, since it is a flexible system to accommodate various needs of international students, we recommend consultation with academic advisors:

-- Undergraduate: within 2 years after the first arrival in Japan
-- Graduate: within a year after the first arrival in Japan
-- Government-financed international students: within a year after finishing pre-training of Japanese language education.
