Our Faculty of Tourism utilizes the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Wakayama, which are widely regarded as international tourism spots, in an effort to create a new style of studying tourism that is closely linked to the tourism industry and the hands-on government administration throughout Japan and the world. The program is characterized by a unique curriculum aimed at developing students into individuals with a good balance in terms of a broad knowledge and awareness suitable for tourism, an understanding and knowledge of Japanese culture, IT skills and advanced foreign language proficiency.
