Center for Joint Research and Development

The Center for Joint Research and Development was established in April 1999 as an institution for promoting ties and cooperation with companies and universities in the region, to undertake commissioned research and joint research with privately run institutions and local public authorities. Construction of a three-story steel-framed concrete Center Tower building was completed in January 2001.

Main operations

• Technology exchanges, commissioned research, joint research with privately run institutions and local public authorities
• Providing academic information to privately run institutions and local public authorities
• Providing education and training in advanced technologies for engineers at privately run institutions and local public authorities
• Responding to science-related questions from privately run institutions and local public authorities, and providing guidance on scientific and technical issues related to research and development
• Conducting academic survey research related to regional society
