Faculty of Systems Engineering & Graduate School of Systems Engineering

Taking a multi-faceted view of engineering, through studies of "Development" and "Integration"

The Faculty of Systems Engineering develops specialized technologies that have been created in a wide range of engineering fields, and explores new fields created through the integration of these technologies. It also creates system technologies designed to achieve harmony between technologies and society, the environment, and human beings.

Faculty of Systems Engineering & Graduate School of Systems Engineering

Description of the Faculty

The Faculty of Systems Engineering, which was established ten years ago based on a new concept in education, comprises five Departments: the Department of Computer and Communication Sciences, the Department of Opto-Mechatronics, the Department of Material Science and Chemistry, the Department of Environmental Systems, and the Department of Design and Information Sciences. Breaking away from the production-centered technologies of the past, the Faculty undertakes research and education in complex fields based on free concepts, in order to create sciences and technologies that can coexist with the Earth.
