和歌山大学国際観光学研究センター（CTR）では、若手研究者の育成を図ることを目的とし、セミナーやワークショップ等さまざまなイベントを開催しています。
今回のセミナーでは、CTR専任研究員であるモハメド・エルバルバリ講師が登壇し、学際的研究に必要な理論的基盤の構築の仕方や、文献分析の方法、研究仮説の立て方について紹介します。セミナーの後半では、研究計画のアウトライン作成について実践的なトレーニングも行い、参加者の総合的な研究スキルの向上を目指します。
セミナーは対面で行います。参加には事前の申し込みが必要です（参加費は不要）。お申し込み方法は下記をご覧ください。

CTR seminar「Conducting Interdisciplinary Research: Potentials and Chanllenges」
概要
This seminar invites fourth-year undergraduate students, master’s students, and early-career researchers interested in developing and structuring robust interdisciplinary research.
In the first part, reflecting on the presenter’s previous research projects, participants will learn how to establish a solid theoretical foundation for interdisciplinary research, conduct in-depth literature analysis, and formulate research hypotheses.
The second part offers practical training and guidance on outlining research proposals, along with opportunities for participants to discuss their ideas and receive feedback. Training handouts will be provided in the venue.
By bridging theory and practice, the seminar encourages participants to apply creative and analytical techniques that enhance their overall research skills.

Dr. Mohamed Elbarbary (和歌山大学国際観光学研究センター 講師)
Dr. Mohamed (Mido) ELBARBARY is a lecturer at the Center for Tourism Research, Wakayama University. In 2022, he received a PhD in World Cultural Heritage Studies from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests cover tourism studies, cultural heritage, human geography, and linguistic landscape. Adopting a mixed-methods approach, he conducted several interdisciplinary research which have been published in international peer-reviewed journals.
