We are pleased to announce that the Center for Tourism Research (CTR) will host an international symposium, available in a hybrid format for both in-person and online attendance.

This symposium will serve as a dynamic platform for stakeholders from academia, government, and the private sector. We will gather to explore critical topics, share expertise, and present insightful research on responsible destination management from the lens of tourism education and digital technology in tourism.

We are honored to feature keynote addresses from two distinguished international scholars:

  • Professor Graham Miler (NOVA School of Business and Economics, Portugal)
  • Professor Mingming Cheng (Curtin University, Australia)

This symposium will also bring together leading researchers in tourism education from Japan and abroad, as well as practitioners and experts from Japan's tourism industry.
