[Conference presentation] 2026 ISISA

The 20th Islands of the World Conference, hosted by the International Small Islands Studies Association (2026 ISISA), was held between 7th and 11th July in Shinan County, South Korea. From Wakayama University, CTR Researcher Dr. Dajeong Song presented her research.

Dr. Song presented a study on tourism use and conservation management in a World Natural Heritage area, using the visitor reservation and local guide systems on Jeju Island, South Korea, as case studies, with a focus on the interactions between institutional practices and stakeholders.
