Since 1995, Faculty of Systems Engineering has been offering study environment to encourage insight of multiple technology areas and producing talented human resources needed by industry. Lots of alumnus and alumna are active in various companies.
By the way, the speed of progress in science and technology in recent years is accelerating year by year, and it is not uncommon for technologies that were thought to be difficult to realize just a few years ago to be put into practical use. Behind this is the rapid progress of information-related technology.
In view of this social situation, in 2023, our Faculty changed into advanced specialized education based on the basics and applied technology of information. This makes it suitable for both students who want to learn new engineering based on information technology and students who want to learn more about information technology. Of course, the double-major system that allows students to learn about multiple fields remains. Students can choose 6 years course which seamlessly study for the two years of the Graduate School of Systems Engineering, which allows them to acquire more advanced specialized knowledge and skills in a practical manner.
